DESCRIPTION:<b>Notice of AGM</b><br>.\nI hereby give notice that the Annual
  General Meeting of The BMW Motorcycle Club Ltd. will be held on Saturday
  25th of April 2026 at the Canberra Club, Blackburn, BB2 7LF. Registratio
 n will be from 10:00 hrs and the meeting will commence at 11:30 hrs. For 
 information regarding the venue please see the advertisements in The Jour
 nal and on the Club website.<br>.\nNominations for the election of office
 rs and notification of matters for inclusion on the agenda, both in accor
 dance with the provisions of the Memorandum and Articles of Association, 
 must be in my possession no later than the 31st of January 2026. Please b
 e aware that Special Resolutions to amend the Memorandum and Articles of 
 Association require a very particular form of wording to be valid.<br>.\n
 Nominations for the Club Trophies to be awarded at the meeting should be 
 sent to me together with a written statement of support no later than the
  31st of January 2026. A list of trophies and their award criteria is ava
 ilable, if required. If you currently have an original Club Trophy (not a
  replica which is yours forever) please arrange to have it returned to me
  as soon as possible.<br>.\nThis year, to save the Club a significant amo
 unt of money, we will be making all the documents for the meeting availab
 le on the Club's website, which is at www.thebmwclub.org.uk, from the 4th
  of April 2026. If any member without Internet access needs a copy, then 
 please send Peter Dunn, 101 Station Road, Thatcham, Newbury, Berkshire RG
 19 4QH an A4 self-addressed envelope stamped with the Royal Mail's large 
 letter postage and a printed copy will be sent to you.<br>.\nSection 324 
 of the Companies Act 2006 states that a member has the statutory right to
  appoint a proxy, who does not have to be a member of the company, to att
 end, speak and vote instead of the member. If you require a form of proxy
  and cannot print one from the Club’s website, then please send Colin R
 oss, 7 Pintail Grove, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY10 4RT a stamped s
 elf-addressed envelope and a covering letter giving your membership numbe
 r to request one. Completed forms, either posted or emailed, must be with
